Basantar Breweries Pvt. Ltd. is the result of the dream seen by Mr. Naveen Singh Sambyal years ago.
The vision was to produce international quality beer in Jammu & Kashmir, where environment is pure and pious. The water is free from pollutants and natural beauty spread everywhere. To fulfil his dream, the Founder Mr. Naveen Singh Sambyal started focussing on his dream project with the blessings of his father Mr. Nishchant Singh Sambyal.
Finally in lush green fields beautiful brewery appeared as one of the most modern breweries in the country.
The plant has two production lines glass and can each. Both lines are having latest machines and instruments. In J&K state, Basantar Breweries is the first can line project installed on turnkey basis of KHS Machinery which comprises of German and Swiss machines.
The Can line produces 285 cans per minute
and the Bottle line produces 200 bottles per minute.
At Basantar Breweries Pvt. Ltd. brewing of two rocking beer brands are being done, named Sea Hawk and Chinar. Sea Hawk possesses entirely different crispy flavour and taste, being produced in the valley of Kashmir recipe of Chinar is the combination of Kashmiri art and traditional tastes, which makes it a unique beer with divine taste profile. For the lovers of low calorie beers, light variant of Chinar is planned launch in near future; on the other hand Sea Hawk Premium lager will be available soon.
Chinar 10000 Super Strong beer and Sea Hawk Ultra Super Strong beer have been launched in glass and can packs, both have got overwhelming response from the markets of the J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal states.
International Quality Measuring System have been implemented in the process and packaging to assure GMP.
At Basantar Breweries Pvt. Ltd. beer is made under strict compliance of ISO 14001:2004 & ISO 22000:2005. It was a big challenge to comply with such international quality systems from very beginning but it could be done successfully to match with the dream seen by the Founder.
